Dr. Nereida (Aguiar) Morales, DC

Dr. Nereida Morales is dedicated to helping and educating others in living their best life through movement and good health. She has always been fascinated by how the human body works and its ability to heal itself with proper care. Growing up Dr. Morales participated in multiple sports and played two years at the collegiate level. Suffering a shoulder injury she had to stop playing and decided to focus on school. She has since made it her goal to make a difference for other young athletes and is now determined to help them have a successful and long athletic career with minimal injuries. Dr. Morales also has a passion for working with prenatal and postpartum women and their families. She understands the changes a woman's body goes through during this special time. Keeping a healthy family makes for a happy family.

Dr. Morales structures her treatment plans around the patient's needs using a variety of chiropractic techniques, manual therapies, RockTape, instrument-assisted soft tissue method, and myofascial release technique. She believes in educating her patients on how to use better body mechanics to assist with day-to-day activities.

Dr. Morales was born and raised in San Diego, California, and studied at California State University, San Marcos obtaining her degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in physical therapy. She continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose where she received her doctorate. Upon graduating, she moved up to the greater Portland area to finish her schooling and quickly realized how much she enjoyed the PNW and made it her new home.

When she’s not practicing, you can find her doing outdoor activities with her family and friends, at the gym, or reading at a coffee shop
